Magazines for current SD are compatible with SDVE™
The only issue I had with the weapon was when I went to insert the magazine to reload the firearm, I wasn’t able to rack the slide and chamber a round. I would have to press down on the slide lock lever assembly in order to get the slide to move forward and chamber a round. I called Smith and they told me they would fix the problem and I would not have to pay for anything on my end. They even covered the shipping cost. The nice thing about Smith is that they took care of me when it came to fixing this issue.
